It's that time of the year when those nasty ticks begin to flourish. Make sure you are checking your pets and yourself for ticks. If you find a tick seek medical attention to be sure the tick is properly removed.

They are bad this year, a friend of mine pulled 3 off his dog the other day in New Hartford.

I've heard that the tick-twisters are really good for removal, but what more should we be looking for in terms of treatment and patients with signs of Lyme Disease?
